Here
& Gone
Band
Here &
Gone Bluegrass Band was formed early 1993, with band
owner/founder/guitarist Randy Jenkins and banjoist/co-founder Ron Carnes.
We put two albums on the market early 1994, with Here & Gone and Knee
Deep in Bluegrass in late 1994. The bassist, Ron Potts joined in early
1995. Now, with the addition of Tony Myers rich, tenor voice and extremely
silky mandolin. Plus, the added fiddle and various instument work of Jeff
Gurnsey. The band just keeps climbing to the top. Each of the current
members are steeped in various styles of music, such as gospel, bluegrass,
soft rock, country & western, southern rock, jazz, and mountain
ballads.
The bluegrass
band has performed in The Bluegrass Music Awards Show, Bill Monroes Park,
festivals, parades, television and radio appearances, state and local
functions, fairs, churches and social gatherings. "There isn't any
function too small or too large to spread the gospel of bluegrass".
Here & Gone finished 20th in the nation a
few years ago at the S.P.B.G.M.A. Bluegrass Music Awards Show in
Nashville, TN. Since then they have performed in literally hundreds of
performances including Bill Monroes Park, Red Barn Jamboree, Nashville,
